'Haehae' street furniture

Haehae is furniture for specification in public spaces, designed for and with Tilley Group in Wellington, New Zealand.
The structure of the seat is created by folding sheet metal, a core capability at the company.
The form of the primary beam and leg grew out of investigations into ‘inside reverse folding’. This creates strength in a sheet material and a distinctive V shape fold in the outside of the seat leg that subtly pays respect to haehae lines in Maori carving.
